<p>MCPA is an acronym for &#8216;Modified Career Path Appreciation&#8217;. This assessment is an opportunity to explore your experience of, and approach to, work. You are also provided with an opportunity to reflect on your career, your aspirations and the type of work that you find challenging and stimulating (as well as those elements of work that frustrate and unnerve you!).<br>MCPA assesses your current level of capability, and predicts future growth potential and timings.</p>

<h4 class="wp-block-heading">Who Are These Assessments For?</h4>



<p>Individuals &#8211; who want to know what their talents, potential, capabilities are, as well as areas where they could benefit from further development.<br>Organisations – who want to know more about the talents, capabilities and potential of their existing staff, as well as the areas where they should invest in developing these staff members.<br>Organisations – who are recruiting, and who want to be more sure about the “fit” of each candidate for the roles which they are trying to fill.<br>Teams – who want to know how they can work together more effectively.<br>Assessment results are mostly used for career and development planning. They can also be used by organisations to inform the recruitment and selection, succession planning and organisational development processes and related decisions and strategies.<br>The MCPA has proven to be highly popular and valued amongst our clients, from students to C-suite managers and Board Members.</p>

<p>Upon receipt of your confirmation and payment, login details will be supplied. An online questionnaire will then have to be completed (takes roughly an hour). Thereafter, an accredited Practitioner will interview you by Zoom for an hour or two (depending on your seniority), to validate the assessment results. Full feedback will be given, and development suggestions can be discussed. Further (optional) coaching and career guidance sessions can be arranged, at your request. A detailed report will be given to you. All data and discussions are held in strict confidence.</p>

<p>You may request the option to have a highly trained and accredited Assessment Practitioner discuss your results with you, via a video conference. He will answer your questions, and guide you about how to interpret and make use of your results. He will also make suggestions that could help with your personal/career development, and other coaching comments. You may book as many sessions with your Assessment Practitioner as you wish.<br>These optional sessions with your Assessment Practitioner will consist of a more personal and detailed feedback session, lasting approximately one or two hours (depending on seniority). This session will also address your own goals for your future, and how best to achieve these, using your assessment results and building on your knowledge, experience and motivation. Suggestions will be made about aspects of your assessment which may hold you back from achieving your potential and your goals, and how you can best address these to develop them.<br>Your Assessment Practitioner will help you to understand the types of work that will challenge and stimulate you at present (we refer to this as ‘flow’) and how this is likely to develop and mature and change over time.</p>



<p><br>In summary, the assessment process provides you with information as to how you prefer to approach work and decision making as well as how this will change and develop, within the context of different levels of work, in the future.</p>
