Elite Cognitive Profile
ECP
ECP is an acronym for ‘Elite Cognitive Profile’. It measures cognitive ability, which is a valid predictor of job performance, learning ability and training success, across most, if not all, jobs. The Elite Cognitive Profile helps individuals and employers accurately test a candidate’s level of general cognitive (intellectual) ability. More specifically, the test measures the individual’s potential to be trained, to effectively and efficiently solve problems, to communicate clearly and to comprehend complex relationships between variables in decision-making.
What ECP assesses:-
Mathematical/Logical Reasoning and Verbal Reasoning.
Who would want to do this assessment?
Someone who wants to know what his/her intellectual ‘bandwidth’ is
An organisation which wants to make a well-informed decision before appointing someone to a position
Answers the questions:-
The degree to which an individual is likely to reason logically and to understand and solve basic to more complex mathematical, logical and abstract problems
The degree to which an individual understands relationships among written or spoken words, which includes word comprehension and associations
The degree to which an individual can think quickly and fluidly, drawing conclusions from moderate to complex verbal or written communications
